National Portrait Gallery

Visited the Scottish National Portrait Gallery today, the best thing about it really is the building. It's a gorgeous 18th century building of pink granite with a center rotunda. The collection was

great too, but the balcony area was the most impressive. It was the last thing on my list of things to see in Edinburgh. I've seen everything now!!!! It's amazing. I've seen more than anyone I know!!! I'm so glad, I didn't want to be one of those people who have lived somewhere and when people ask them, "Oh, you live in Edinburgh, have you seen _____?," and I'd have to say no, but now I think I've done it all!!!! Yay!!
