Seen tons of films lately as usual, some DVD some at Cinema, thought I'd pass along our findings...

DAVINCI CODE Peg's rating P Jam's rating -PP
It was not just because the movie was slow, and the acting was bad, but this movie was miscasted and poorly edited.... Yea, yea, we all read the book but I read the book faster than it took to sit through this film

What can I say, Johnny Depp.... enough said... No seriously it's worth watching... what ever happened to him only doing movies that his kids could watch... this sure as hell ain't one of em.....

THE LEGEND OF 1900 Peg's rating PPPP Jam's rating PPPPP
This is a beautiful, whimsical film, well worth seeing. Starring Tim Roth, he's always brilliant. Although a little sappy at times.. it's a great story.

TIE ME UP TIE ME DOWN PPP
Antonio Banderas age 25... hubba hubba, beautifully shot Mexican film, with subtitles, colourful vivid and lovely. Story is quircky and silly.

TALK TO HER PPP
Spanish with subtitles. Sweet story about human relations, lonliness and love between people who otherwise would never have been involved with eachother if they hadn't experienced similar trajedies. I cried, but that doesn't take much!!!

ENDURING LOVE PP
British film starring the new James Bond, Craig Daniel, (by the way he's a hottie, I take back what I said about him sucking as 007) This is also a bizarre human connection movie about relationships and reality relating to people bonded by a common experience.

Definately a man's movie, shoot'em up, crime drama, raw edgy and will definately be a cult classic, quoted by guys for decades.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE III Peg's rating -P Jam's rating P
Same old same old, but worse, much worse.. trite and slow and just all around yuk!!! not to mention the leading lady looks just like katie holmes, sort of creepy that Tom Cruise picks a leading lady that looks like his latest chick...

THE OMEN Peg's rating P Jam's rating not worth rating
I've never seen the original but apparently this was exactly like it with worse actors.... apocolyptic story ofcourse just playing on all the Davinci Code 'catholic dogma' interest.... blah blah blah

Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN PP
Spanish subtitles, won all sorts of awards and I'd never seen it, it was good, sad but good, coming of age, and dealing with life's struggles...

ASYLUM PPP
This was a good, freaky flick and the leading man is a hottie... and Colin Firth is always good.... and the story shows a totally different role for a female character... for part of it anyway.

KINKY BOOTS PPP
In the theme of Calendar girls, the full monty, a silly British happy film

LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELLS PPPPP
I know this is a classic but watched it again the other day and it's just so worth it... more watchable repeatedly than Pulp Fiction
